Order Cancellation and Refunds Policy for iamyourwriter.com
1. Order Cancellation
- The Employer can request to cancel an order if the delivered work does not meet the agreed requirements, is late, or if there is a mutual agreement to cancel.
- Writers may also request cancellation if the employer’s requirements change significantly or if communication breaks down.
- All cancellation requests should be made through the platform’s order management or resolution center.
2. Refund Process
- When an order is canceled, the funds are credited to the Employer’s balance by default.
- Employers can use this balance for future purchases on the platform.
- If the Employer prefers a refund to their original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal), they can request this through the platform’s support system after the order is canceled.
- Refunds to the original payment method are typically processed within 10 business days after approval, depending on the payment provider.
3. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are only issued for orders canceled through the platform.
- Refunds can only be returned to the original payment source used for the order.
- Platform credits (if issued as a bonus or promotion) cannot be refunded or transferred to a payment provider and may expire after a set period (e.g., three months).
4. Dispute Resolution
- If either party disagrees with a cancellation or refund request, they may escalate the issue to the platform’s support team for mediation.
- If the other party does not respond to a cancellation request within a set period (e.g., 48 hours), the platform may automatically cancel the order and process the refund.
5. Important Notes
- Once a refund is initiated, it cannot be reversed.
- Excessive cancellations may impact a Writer’s standing or visibility on the platform.
- All refunds and cancellations must be processed through iamyourwriter.com to ensure compliance and security.
